I am a mechanical engineering student at Olin College of Engineering. I'm passionate about aerospace and rail transport, especially public transit. I'm the propulsion lead of Olin Rocketry, for which I recently designed and fabricated a bulkhead that integrates a pressure transducer to measure chamber pressure during static fire. I also designed the graphite nozzle for the team's upcoming student researched and developed (SRAD) solid rocket motor. I was a hardware intern for Frontier Machines, a startup focused on training AI assembly line robotics. Over the course of my internship, I developed a lightweight human-operated robotic data collection rig from initial prototype to five deployed operational units. I did extensive CAD and DFM work to optimize the units for accuracy, ease of assembly, and weight reduction. I have experience in machining, design/modeling, and simulation/systems. I spend my free time working to restore controls from retired AEM-7 electric locomotives which I am currently integrating into a custom simulator. While my primary interest is focused on mechanical systems, I also enjoy designing and integrating electronics into my designs.
